What does Priest mean in KPWS?
In KPWS, Priest means cultivating prayer, worship, obedience, and discipleship in everyday life. It applies the Christian theme of a royal priesthood to personal faith and care for others; it does not confer ordained office.
Put this role into practice
- Choose a sustainable time for prayer.
- Pray for someone by name.
- Model faith through a concrete act of service.
An everyday example
Read a passage in context, name one person to pray for, and choose one act of care. A spiritual practice should connect with how you treat people.
Scripture and source teaching
Read these passages in context: 1 Peter 2:9; Romans 12:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Deuteronomy 6:6–7. This explanation is adapted from the Priest teaching in Lance Williams’s KPWS workbook.
